NOTE: If you missed them, you can listen to Good Friday’s message here and Easter Sunday’s message here.

  • How did God speak to you over the weekend? What moment (or moments) stood out most to you? Why?
  • Of the five different words Jeff said come to mind for him when he sees the nail (Forgiveness, Grace, Healing, Love and Hope), which one connects with you the most? Explain.
  • On Good Friday, what word (or words/phrases/Bible verses) did you write down during the nail exercise in response to the question, “What do you see when you see the nail?” (or would you have written down if you were there)? Why?
  • On Easter Sunday, Jeff talked about how the resurrection life of Christ is now available to everyone who believes in Christ. What do you think this means? (See 2 Corinthians 5:17)
  • Of the three different stories that were shared on Sunday (Sarah-Jane’s, Bron’s and Rachel’s) which one did you see yourself in the most? Why?
    • What comments or pieces of their story struck you the most?
    • How did you see the redemptive power of Christ at work in their stories?
  • How have you experienced the power of the resurrection at work redeeming to broken parts of your story? How is Jesus making you new?
    • Spend some time sharing ‘evidence of the resurrection’ from each others lives.

Pray with and for one another as a group. Ask God to continue to restore and redeem us as we grow in Christ, remembering that “the one who gave his life for all, has now won life for all“!
