Jesus gave one simple piece of instruction to the church as they were about to get started: GO. “Go and make disciples of all the nations.” (Matthew 28:19) Or, in other words, to go and introduce people to a God who loves them and then to teach them how to be followers of Jesus. According to Jesus, this is to be the mission of the church: Evangelism and Discipleship, living as missionaries in our world. But how many of us actually live this out? And what does it look like to “GO” while we ‘stay’, living as missionaries in today’s world?

GO! “Setting the Stage: God as the Ultimate Missionary”
God is the ultimate missionary. He comes after us when we walk away, pursues us when we’ve given up, and loves us when we believe we are unlovable. He comes down to our level and invites us in, even though we don’t deserve it. It's His mission to “seek and save the lost” (Luke 19:10).
