Good Friday 2015

What is Good Friday really all about? What did Jesus actually experience on the cross?

The Mystery

The mystery of Spiritual Growth - Christ in you the hope of glory.

Twenty Seconds

You are one decision away from a totally different life. Twenty seconds. That’s all it takes.  The question is whether or not you can find the courage to make that decision and to take that next step of faith. What if going “all in” for God isn’t as complicated as we might think? What if it all comes down to “twenty seconds of insane courage?”  You may be surprised to find that you already have everything it takes…

Risky Business

Jesus did not die just to keep us safe… He died to make us dangerous! And yet so many Christians are content with a “play it safe” Christianity.  The kind of faith that leaves us bored and complacent. So what does it mean to live dangerously for God? To live out this “adventure of a life-time” that God calls each of us into? Maybe it’s time to raise our spiritual risk quotient. Maybe it’s time to go all-in!

Desperate Times

Desperate times call for desperate measures. If we want something bad enough, we will do whatever needs to be done to get it.  And it’s no different in our spiritual journeys either. If we want to experience all that God has for us in our lives, we need to get desperate. So what if going “all in” in for God requires us coming face-to-face with our spiritual desperation? Maybe it’s time to get desperate.

Break the Jar

There comes a moment where we all need to come clean. Where we need to deal with the shame of our past and our secret sin.  But why is that we act like our sin and shame disqualifies us from the grace of God? When in fact, it is the only thing that qualifies us! Maybe it’s time to “break the jar” of our past and our shame… Maybe it’s time to go all in!

First Things First

Money. Power. Popularity. Influence. Prestige.  It’s all the things our culture says we need in order to live lives that matter. And so we spend our lives chasing these things but remain unsatisfied. So what are we missing? What if true fulfillment comes from living lives that go “all in” for God?

Who’s Following Who?

Jesus’ invitation to each of us is clear: “Follow Me.” And yet most us invite Jesus to follow us instead.  Which raises an important question: Who’s following who? Are you living an “all-in” life for Christ or are you living for something or someone else? Are you following Christ or are you expecting Him to follow you? Maybe it’s time for you to go “all in.”

It Takes a Village
