Deeply Rooted in the Scriptures

In the book of Hebrews, we read that, “the word of God is living and active” and “sharper than any two-edged sword.” That it’s in the Bible that we see who we really are and who God really is. So why then do our Bibles so often just sit on our shelves collecting dust?  What is the Bible and why should we read it?

A Deeply Rooted Church

We want to be a church that is growing and maturing in Christ. A "Deeply Rooted" Church (Colossians 2:6-7). Because ultimately, who we are becoming will shape what we end up doing!

Hope for Humanity

Loneliness. Bitterness. Rage. Discontentment. Darkness. Ever feel like something is just a bit “off” on the inside. That something just isn’t right on the inside? Well you’re not alone – it’s common thread across all of humanity. But the good news is that the message of Christmas is a message of Hope. That Christmas = Hope! Hope in the midst of our brokenness and our hopelessness. Would you join us on Christmas Eve as we celebrate this hope that we have in Christ together?

All Things

Join us for the last Sunday in our "United" series through the book of Philippians as we look at the famous words of the Apostle Paul, "I can do all things through him who strengthens me."

Think About These Things

What we think about most tells us a lot about ourselves. So what does it look like to turn our thoughts “God-ward”? And how does worry and anxiety distract us from doing this?

The Goal

We all know that setting goals in life is a good thing to do. Whether it be fitness-related, work-related, finance-related, family-related… whatever. Setting goals can help us to achieve things in life that matter the most. But what does this look like in our spiritual journeys? What does it mean to “press on toward the goal” (Philippians 3:14) and to “strain forward” (Philippians 3:13)?

Rubbish!

What is the most important thing in your life? Your family? Your job? Your home? Your relationship with Christ? Your religion? Watch Jeff's message from Sun Nov 8, 2015 as we see how everything else in life should be considered “Rubbish” when compared to knowing and gaining Christ.

“Grumbling and Disputing” (Philippians 2:12-30)

Are you a glass-half-full or a glass-half-empty kind of person? Are you quick to notice and point out the positives or the negatives? Are you a “complainer” or an “encourager”? And what does this have to do with living the kind of lives “shine brightly for Christ”?
