If you missed this past Sunday’s teaching, you can listen to it here.

  • How did God speak to you on Sunday morning?
    • What were your thoughts about the story that we watched on Sunday? How did it challenge you?
  • Read 2 Corinthians 9:6-15 together. What does this passage show us about how to give?
  • How does guilt/fear play into the dismantling of our good intentions (i.e. giving, encouraging, your New Years resolutions ?
  • Hebrews 12:2 says “Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame.”  What does this tell us about how we can persevere/obey even when it stings?
  •  Mike said that “we need to move from ambiguity and reluctance to informed and eager”.  What are ways that we can accomplish this in our everyday lives?
  • Questions for Refection:
    • Reflecting on the ‘personalities’ outlined in the pictures below, what is your approach to money and giving?
    • Knowing your approach, how then would you most effectively STOP your progress? and how would you in turn protect against that sabotage?
    • What implications does the lesson in Hebrews 12 have for other areas of our lives?
  • How is God calling you to be generous this week?
