If you missed Sunday May 7th’s message “Becoming Like Children”, you can listen to it here.

  • Spend a few minutes discussing Sunday’s service. How did God meet you?
  • Read Mark 10:13-16 together. What about this passage stands out to you most?
  • In verse 14 we see that Jesus got angry with his disciples. What made him angry? What does this show us about Jesus and what mattered most to him?
  • In verse 15, Jesus said that “anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.” What did Jesus mean by this? What does it look like to receive the Kingdom of God like a child?
  • Spend some time talking about some child-like qualities that Jesus would invite his followers to have. What can we learn about following Jesus from children?
  • Jeff provided three child-like qualities that every Christ-Follower should aspire to: Unassuming (where there is no such thing as status and ranking systems), Helpless (becoming completely dependent on our Heavenly Father), and Trusting (Placing our faith in Christ no matter the circumstances of life).  Of these three qualities, which one spoke to you (or challenged you) the most. Why?
  • What is your next step coming out of this Sunday’s teaching?
