As routines shift over the next couple of months, our prayer is that we all find meaningful Sabbath rest—soul-nourishing time with God and one another.
You’ll notice a rhythm to our summer gatherings:
- Some Sundays we’ll meet in the chapel at St. FX for worship and teaching.
- Other weeks, we’ll gather at Claudette Cain Park for connection and encouragement.
- On long weekends, we’ll pause formal gatherings to allow rest and travel—but still encourage you to stay rooted in the Word and prayer, whether alone, with family, or friends.
This rhythm was thoughtfully shaped to care for volunteers, recognize summer travel, and still centre us around Acts 6:4 as we devote ourselves to the reading and teaching of the word and prayer. (paraphrase)
As always, we remain committed to being a church that connects people to the love of Jesus—and we believe this happens not only through Sunday worship, but through the everyday relationships that reflect His heart. The church is the living embodiment of God in the world, and it’s often through how we love and care for one another that the world starts to see and know Him.
